The new edition of the “EvolveArt” competition is underway, a challenge aimed at young artists studying at Italian art schools, promoted by the Fondazione MAIRE - ETS and MAIRE Group together with Associazione Amici della Biennale dei Licei Artistici  (ABiLiArt) and Rete Nazionale dei Licei Artistici  (ReNaLiArt), which this year also boasts the prestigious collaboration of the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GNAM).

The competition is open to students in grades III, IV, and V of all Italian art high schools and their respective educational institutions; participation is free and open to both individuals and groups of up to three people; each educational institution may submit up to eight project proposals.

This year's challenge is to create a sculpture on the theme of “Sustainable development, energy transition, and the circular economy: the role of young people in combating climate change”. The works will be added to the Foundation's artistic heritage and will be temporarily exhibited at the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GNAM) and permanently exhibited at a MAIRE Group venue.

The competition is divided into five stages. The first stage involves registration and submission of projects by sending the application form and other forms required in the competition announcement, to be completed by the head teacher of the school attended by the young artist wishing to take part in the competition, by November 23, 2025.

The announcement contains all the information needed to participate in the competition. For clarification on the announcement, please write to abiliart.evolveart@gmail.com.
