Using materials drawn from its historical archives, the MAIRE Foundation supports the exhibition sponsored by the Milan Polytechnic University entitled "Scales of transformation. Between Architecture and Chemical Engineering.".
The exhibition was designed to explore the affinities between Architecture and Chemical Engineering, overcome clichés and superficial evaluations (from the glorification to the demonization of the chemical industry) and stimulate a cross-disciplinary look at the techniques, the results of continuing changes in the field, and the effect they have on society and its collective well-being (the democratization of manufacturing).
