We are living in times that call for a paradigm shift, a broad cultural transformation.
The Fondazione MAIRE – ETS is an Ente del Terzo Settore (an italian “Third Sector Organization”), whose mission is to train the “humanist engineers” of tomorrow, individuals capable of contributing to the evolution of humanity by providing innovative, economically and environmentally sustainable technological solutions, and who are able to interpret social, ethical and environmental needs in the era of energy transition and digitalization.
The Foundation promotes training and guidance projects for the younger generation, with a particular focus on vulnerable and fragile social groups, combating educational poverty and encouraging the inclusion of women and minorities in the energy and engineering sector. It also promotes cultural projects and projects to enhance the archival and engineering heritage of the MAIRE Group, whose historical archive is unique in the world, as well as studies, research, and calls for applications for research grants to investigate the global scenario on the urgent need to create new skills to implement the energy transition.
