AIPAI Photo Contest 2025-2026 awards its winners; the “Mecenati di Giovani Talenti” award [‘Patrons of Young Talent’ award] went to Alessandra Flora for her photograph “Around the Corner: Unexpected Landscapes of Ciociaria”. At the 3rd General Assembly of Industrial Heritage, our strategy for promoting corporate heritage was discussed at the Museimpresa round table.

The 3rd General Assembly of the Industrial Heritage of AIPAI, the Italian Association for Industrial Heritage, kicked off on 5 February 2026 at the Polytechnic University of Bari.

On the first day of the event, the round table discussion organised by Museimpresa will stimulate dialogue on strategies and models for promoting heritage linked to businesses and local areas. Speakers included Renè Capovin from Fondazione Musil, Fabrizio Trisoglio from Fondazione AEM, Carolina Lussana from Fondazione Dalmine, and our Heritage Manager Francesca Rinaldo, who commented, “A journey through the Company Archive as a place where research, culture and business meet, generating new connections and synergies”.

In the afternoon, the eagerly awaited award ceremony for the AIPAI Photo Contest 2025-2026, the photography competition organised by AIPAI and TICCIH Italia in collaboration with DICEA - Sapienza University of Rome, DG European and International Affairs - UNESCO Service II, Appia Antica Regional Park, Do.co.mo.mo Italia, AEM Foundation, ISEC Foundation, Fondazione MAIRE - ETS, Musil Foundation, RoMe Museum Exhibition and Rete Fotografia.

For the third consecutive year, the Fondazione MAIRE - ETS has chosen to partner with the initiative to contribute to the dissemination of industrial heritage culture and to support the “Mecenati di giovani talenti” award [‘Patrons of Young Talent’ award], dedicated to young amateur photographers under the age of 35.

This year's winner was the young Alessandra Flora, author of the photograph “Dietro l'angolo: paesaggi inattesi della Ciociaria” [“Around the corner: unexpected landscapes of Ciociaria”], which explores the Sacco Valley as a “threshold place”. Her gaze transforms industry into a rarefied presence amid mist and vegetation, restoring visibility to the most fragile and silent margins of the territory.

The Fondazione MAIRE – ETS continues to support young artistic talents who are able to interpret the human and technological challenges of the present and future in new ways and with a cross-disciplinary sensitivity, using a multidisciplinary approach that brings together art, photography, industry, people and the environment.

The Foundation will offer the winner a contract worth €1,000 for the creation of a special photography project dedicated to the MAIRE Group’s archival heritage.
