Fondazione MAIRE – ETS is proud and pleased to contribute to the exhibition “125 times FIAT. Modernity through FIAT imagery” on display at MAUTO, the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile di Torino [National automobile museum in Turin].

In the “Visions to the Future: Architecture, Urbanism, Energy” section of the exhibition, it is possible to admire some original pieces from the MAIRE Historical Archive, including the extraordinary architectural designs of Gae Aulenti's “Palazzo Grassi” in Venice [FIAT Engineering, 1985] and Pier Luigi Nervi and Antonio Nervi's “Palazzo del Lavoro” in Turin [FIAT Engineering, 1961].

Also on display is a Tecnimont model reproducing the Syrian Al Nasserieh Turbogas Power Plant [Tecnimont, 1990s], also depicted on the Syrian £200 banknote for its importance in the country's industrial development.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition took place in November 2024; for the 125-year history of the Turin-based automobile factory, the exhibition aims to retrace its history, highlighting how its evolution has simultaneously fostered the cultural, industrial and economic development of our country.

There is still time to enjoy this journey through time and the history of Italy's industrial heritage: the exhibition will be open to the public until May 4, 2025 at MAUTO, the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile di Torino [National automobile museum in Turin] – Corso Unità d’Italia 40, 10126 Torino.
