The "Barbara Picutti Creative Contest" touches the heart with its story and its collection of tales. The proof is that our “tool tales” awards event won the Corporate Heritage Awards 2024 in the “narrative through events” category.

The awards ceremony for the 2024 edition of the Corporate Heritage Awards took place on 22 November in Rome, at the headquarters of Confindustria. The CHA is the first Italian event dedicated to the marketing of cultural heritage, now in its fourth edition, and it is growing rapidly, with increasingly more projects and organisations taking part every year.

The Fondazione MAIRE - ETS and the MAIRE Group participated in this edition, submitting projects for three of the six categories in the competition: for the category “Narrative through words, images and sounds”, the monograph Maire Tecnimont Historical Archive [Silvana Editoriale, 2018]; for the category “Narrative through events”, the event “Barbara Picutti Creative Contest” - the book of stories “Tool tales” and the related awards ceremony with a literary aperitif; for the category “Narrative through products and brands”, the story of the Group’s rebranding, A journey into MAIRE rebranding – which tells the story and evolution of the brand.

A wide exhibition of works, books and products from prestigious Italian and international brands welcomed the guests of the ceremony: a really impressive selection! We were overcome with emotion when, during the awards ceremony, our name appeared on the LED wall of the room as the winner of the “narrative through events” category.

The award was accepted on our behalf by Francesca Rinaldo, our Heritage manager, who emotionally told the story of the birth of this project, which she curated, and dedicated to the memory of our colleague Barbara Picutti. The award ceremony of “tool tales” was a simple and intimate event. A reading of the stories written by the colleagues who took part in this creative competition dedicated to them, based on the antique tools and implements found in the storerooms of the MAIRE offices in Milan.

We are honoured to receive this recognition and are already working on both the 2025 edition of the "Barbara Picutti Creative Contest" and the projects to be nominated for next year's CHAs!
