CORPORATE HERITAGE AWARDS: WHEN CORPORATE HERITAGE TRIUMPHS
Every autumn, a festival is held dedicated to promoting and raising awareness of the historical and cultural heritage of businesses, and to the efforts organisations make to ensure that history becomes part of the collective heritage: these are the “Corporate Heritage Awards”.
The competition stems from the idea of bringing to the fore those businesses that have distinguished themselves through their commitment to promoting and communicating their heritage; the initiative is organised and promoted by Leaving Footprints, an academic spin-off of the Università degli Studi del Sannio and the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, specialising in consultancy in the field of heritage marketing.
The aim of the awards is to bring to light the stories and histories of the businesses linked to our country’s development, and to share them in order to help nurture and develop entrepreneurial culture.
The Fondazione MAIRE – ETS has been taking part in the event, alongside the MAIRE Group, since 2023 with its own projects dedicated to promoting and disseminating the Group’s archival and engineering heritage! For two consecutive years (in 2024 and 2025), it was awarded first prize in one of the competition categories!

CORPORATE HERITAGE AWARDS 2023
The Fondazione MAIRE – ETS and the MAIRE Group decided to take part in the initiative for the first time in 2023, during the third edition of the “Corporate Heritage Awards”.
In the category “Storytelling through places: corporate archives”, they chose to enter the competition with the video “A journey into the MAIRE Historical Archive”, a journey through the Group’s archival heritage, focusing in particular on the MAIRE Historical Archive.
Accompanying the entry was a two-volume publication, *Archivi Maire Tecnimont*, published by Silvana Editoriale, which showcases some of the most iconic projects and materials preserved in our Historical Archive.

CORPORATE HERITAGE AWARDS 2024
In the fourth edition of the “Corporate Heritage Awards”, the Fondazione MAIRE – ETS and the MAIRE Group chose to enter the “Storytelling through Events” category, submitting their project linked to the “Barbara Picutti Creative Contest” – 2024 edition “Tool Tales”.
The awards ceremony, the Literary Aperitif held at the Torri Garibaldi in Milan, which featured readings of the winning stories from the competition, won first prize in its category!

CORPORATE HERITAGE AWARDS 2025
In the fifth edition of the “Corporate Heritage Awards”, the Fondazione MAIRE – ETS and the MAIRE Group decided to take on the challenge by entering a different category: “Storytelling through words, images and sounds”.
The entry focused on the project “In-genium: gazes into technology past and future” – a photographic project comprising a book, a podcast and a launch event – born out of a collaboration between the MAIRE Group and Foundation, together with the Colosseum Archaeological Park and the Academies of Fine Arts of Brera, Catania and Rome. A journey through the history of ‘techne’ that explores the roots of ancient technology and its links with today’s engineering expertise.
